It looks like an LTD EX-50 (100?)
Personally, I love the EX shape. Honestly, every shape ESP has looks like a Gibson with a modern touch, done just right.

Look at my sig for two options. Both of those were nabbed for under $300 (the Epi was half that, minus all the mods of course, and the Ghost came
with a hard case).
I can do nothing but praise the Epi Goth. Dead stock it was a great guitar, and with a few essential mods, it's ready for all hell to break loose.
It's my #1.
Also, I have another on the way that's the proper shape... and I got it for $220 with a hard case. Not spoiling the surprise though.

I found a new left over model (Black Rotor w/Floyd) at a local shop.... they had it for a couple years and never sold it.. wanted it gone so got a
good deal on it - got a red one off Ebay and traded a AL w/floyd for the other one.
Just gotta keep your eye's peeled for them,, might be able to find them local as well... craigslist and ebay are good places to start and also used
gear markets
Peavey discontinued these, dont make them anymore... probably didnt sell all that well during these tough times.... but are they worth it? Oh yeah...
they are!
Hey audio guy, can you please turn down the lead singers suck knob?

if you can find one of these, they are really good players, I played one in the 80's and they are sought after.
Will def. appreciate in value. The one I played was a blue burst

Love the authentic banana headstock on the Highlander. Rick Nielson would be proud of this thread. Explorers and those copying them are the cats
ass. Had a Ibanez Destroyer when they first came out in the mid 70's. It cost $350 back then and was considered a "cheap" Japanese copy.
Had to sell it during hard times. Still miss that guitar.

Saw one in a music store in Calgary back in the fall of '05, liked it a lot, but sadly had no funds to purchase it at the time. Anyway, fast forward 4
years, and I spot one on eBay for $250, mint condition, with case, and the same colour as the one that originally caught my eye. I watched the auction
for 5 days, hoping the bidding wouldn't go too high... Approx. 10 seconds before bidding ended, I entered my max bid and crossed my fingers...
I was the only bidder.
Anyway, I've since installed a Dimarzio Super 3 and it RAWKS! Great little guitars.

I'm a die-hard explorer fan. I can't get enought of them, so thanks for the info!
Aside from looking online, there aren't any stores around here that have them. I was hoping to test one out instead of blindly purchasing one online,
but that ROTOR would look great in my collection Seems like I may have to.
GibsonWho, thanks for the ebay link as well!

The Dean's look great no doubt, probably play like a beast... but for some (including myself),, the headstock V kills it... it's kinda like putting a
Mack Truck bulldog hood statue on a Corvette... just aint right
