Walmart
Just left there, got some selective things cause Im unemployed and moneys tight.
This lady in frt of me had a basket full, Daughter or granddaughter is eatting a bag of chips loudly, talkin on the phone. LIPS justa smacking.
Cashier said 160.00 something, lady pulls out her debit card, it was swipped a couple times and it was declined, tried another 1, naw didnt work.
Cashier never did ring up the chips, lady pays $1.04 for the bag of chips and lady walks out with 160.00+ of food.
I walk up and ask her if I can get the same deal? She stood there and lied. "i didnt do that" I stood there, i just wanted to go off

I'd have found the manager - I often do when I see this kind of thing. Once they're alerted they'll check their tapes - every cashier is being videoed
all the time. I only found that out after getting home from shopping one day and realising we'd been charged twice for a single item. I called the
store and told them that I know they can't do anything about it because I could easily have two items here, but they just asked for the approximate
time and whether I remembered which checkout lane I used and they'd look at the tapes to see what got packed into my bags.
Even though you walked away, I'd call them and insist on speaking to the manager if you still know the time and lane #

I had similar thing happen to me two weeks ago. I picked up like $70 worth of stuff and went to check out using a $10 certificate and a regular check.
The cashier took the certificate and ran it through for the total amount I owed. I tried to pay the balance with the check and she told me it was all
paid for. I stood there until the manager happened to walk by and told him what had happened and he had the cashier to recheck everything again and
take the full amount. Turns out the cashier forgot I had the check when she ran the certificate and didn't know how to restart the paydrawer. Just a
lack of care and training on the cashiers behalf. Of coarse after I leave I wished I had just let them take the loss but I do try to be an honest
person and even the people in line behind me was saying I should have left with the $60 of free to me stuff.
I have a box made of wood and wire and i make noise with it every day.

That stuff happens here where I live, too...and it sucks that its' gotten away with while I wait on queue with my hand basket of stuff
because it's all we can afford that day. They walk out with carts full of stuff they aren't paying for, jackets and pockets loaded up, too.
Yes, we have a lot of thieves in my area. It's very common and it pisses me off. Who cares if it's walmart or whatever store, it's all the
same around here.
There are old people, and there are bold people, but there are no old bold people.

They let that kind of stuff happen, but then hassle people by checking their receipts when they leave.
