Agile "Sentinel" ST model expected before Christmas!

from the man himself ......

I have gone with the name "Sentinel" - at least for now

the Sentinel 725 will be the 7 string 25.5" scale version.

Inital specs look like
Alder Body except Nat Ash version
Maple Fretboard black dots
Extra Jumbo Frets
Radius 12-13"
25.5" Scale
Ships with SSS pickups but routed for HSS
and Black HSS pickguard included in box.

String Gauge: 009, 011, 016, 024, 032, 042 and 056. Setup tuned to B, E, A, D, G, B, E
Neck Profile - 21.5mm at the frest fret and 22mm at the 12th fret

2 Samples colors ordered

Sentinel 725 Nat Ash
Sentinel 725 VWH

First small production run should be just before Christmas, but that could very easily be delayed so I am relucant to take deposits just yet.

Kurt

one key thing kurt did not touch on: the bridge. 6(7?) point trem? modern 2 point? if he could get hipshot to do a 7 string version of their trem, that would be awesome.

Not sure whether I love or hate the Furian headstock on this one.

Nice fiddle, nonetheless.
If it comes in a lefty, I'd be tempted to pick one up.

This is actually kind of interesting. Reminds me of that 7 string Tele he has. Depending on price I might get one.

Those look awesome. Since it's already a non-traditional guitar (7 string strat), I think the Furrian headstock isn't that bad.

i've only played one before. it was a right handed Schecter with a single coil in the neck/humbucker in the bridge. sounded great.

these will ship S/S/S put routed for H/S/S/. and Kurt is including an extra pickguard in the case.

OK, dumb old school question: What's the tuning on a seven string? :dunno: I'm having enough trouble with six! :D

EDIT: Just re-read OP...so the 7th string is B an octave down?

it is just a mock-up, so i doubt it's anything right now. no agiles have wilkinson anything so i doubt kurt will start dealing with them just for 1 item. but hopefully it's some 2 point trem, like the mockup suggests.
