Mine's a Chinese-made model from a couple of years ago. It's the "Vintage Sunburst," with a Bigsby. They sold it as one of their limited edition
models that gets a little extra setup in the US shop, and has a custom shop logo on the back of the headstock.
I guess you could call this "The George Harrison Model."
At the time, the "Inspired By" series didn't exist, and the Elitists were always well over a grand.
I love it, though. Might have better electronics put in it sometime, but I'll have that one done by a pro. The pickups are actually OK. And it
really plays well and stays in tune. The only mod I've done on it is that I put an older 1" spring in the Bigsby. The licensed models work better
with a bigger, springier spring.

I'll have to post some of my guitar porn sometime soon so I'll fit in, LOL!
My Casino is the natural version. I have done a little additional work on it--I installed a Bigsby B70, a graphite nut, and some D'Addario flatwound
10s. The Bigsby really puts the guitar over the top, IMO.
My lovely wife handed me the credit card and drove me to GC for my birthday a few years back, and the Casino is what I came out of the store with. If
all my guitars burned up in a fire or got stolen, I'd be absolutely sure to get a Casino w/Bigsby with the insurance money, there's nothing else like
it (except a Gibson ES330, LOL).....

Similar story: I was looking at Casinos online all the time, and talking about them, and my wife called a buddy of mine and said "what is this guitar
Steve's talking about, and can you help me get him one?"
I was kind of pissed that she beat up the credit card to the tune of amost $800 with case, but I do love the guitar!

@ frAgile:
Your avatar rocks! I want that Harm, or a 2TS!!!! Lucky...
And this isn't a "true" P90 semi-hollow, but it sounds DAMN FINE. Can get dirty like a stripper on pay-day, or clean up like a prom queen, and these
are just GFS Dream 90's in the Ibanez. I really didn't think this guitar would be a keeper. What do I know?

Ziggle that ibby is beautiful. Is that the Talman semi? If you ever want to clear it out let me know. I have a Ibanez AK95 Archtop Jazz box i might be
interested in trading for it.
I have a box made of wood and wire and i make noise with it every day.

Hi 6Twang,
Thanks! It was sort of an accident that I came about it.
It's a discontinued silver-sparkle finish Ibanez TM71 Talman semi-hollow. Pictures really don't do it justice--the design looks much better in
person.
The AK95 is awesome! Mine is actually for sale in the classifieds, but I'm asking more than I should. I really like it a lot. At this point, I am
really not sure that trading it for a Jazz would be what I'd want to do--I'd be open to a Harm or Harm w/Bigsby, but that's about it at the moment.
When I got it as a trade for my TC-630, I really sort of regretted it for a while, but after cleaning it up, doing a full setup, and installing the
P90s, I really dig it now. It has become one of my favorites.
I'm actually considering putting my Dream 180's in it today, just to give those a spin and see how they measure up. The stock humbuckers were just
plain awful, so the GFS 90s were just about the first thing I did with it. The Dream180s split sound like a combination of Dream/Mean 90s with a
little more brightness, and as humbuckers are bright enough for real twang without hum, which is really, really sweet. I'm thinking those will be the
permanent pups in this dog, but that remains to be seen.
Love it. Simply love it! This was made for P90(ish) pups. Soapbars would have been perfect but I don't think that was ever an option.

The Casino looks cool. I will have to check them out. Never played one. I had an Agile Harm with p90's and never took to it. Only Agile I ever sold. I
don't really know what my problem was, just played my P90 Agile 2000 ten times more. It took my attention away from hollowbodied P90s. Thinking about
putting some mean or dream 90s on my WNO. Maybe thats a start. The WNO is real nice. Just needs some help with its tone.

I once read a description of P90s that sums them up perfectly to me- they're like the girl that cleans up real nice and your folks love when you take
her over for dinner, but when you get back to your place she's a screamer!
P90s are the "just right" pickup for me- I love the compressed midrange "bark" of the bridge, the neck is fat and woody without being muddy, and both
at once have a great chime. Rolling off the volume cleans them up without making them sound muddy or wimpy. I've never been bothered by the noise,
either- just like a Strat or Tele. I play rock, and noise is just part of the equation. I love my AL-3100, but humbuckers are just a little dull in
comparison with the P90s. Same with my Strat- great tone, but I wish it had a little more oomph.
The Who at the Isle Of Wight 1970 is a great lesson in P90 versatility- he gets sparkling clean tone that morphs into rock armageddon with the twist
of a knob.
