I was wondering if anyone has heard of Canvas and whether it is a good brand of guitars?
I never own one but there guitars are cheap. Maybe there good .But you would have to get lucky with the quality.
Have you known somebody with one or heard anything else about them.
I got a canvas cvf-10 for my b-day. It was a lp junior copy. It sounded ok but I took it back. I ordered a Douglas Shadow Pro CSB
I've got a Canvas semi-hollow that's a great little player. The pickups are alnico with medium vintage output, around 8.5k and sound OK. The neck is really nice after a fret level and plays very smoothly. Keeps in tune well. Mid-level hardware on it. I'm looking to change from the black trim to gold or chrome, plus a pixkup change of some sort. Haven't figured it out yet. It sounds nice enough as-is so that I'm not in a big hurry.
Man, thats a good looking git..
Now that's an F hole!!!
The f-holes are what hooked me
That was my first impression!:bigthumb:
White Bridge Music sells Canvas guitars. I've never owned a Canvas,
but I did buy a Stadium SG from them that was beyond excellent! and
they are real nice people too....
I was just gonna say the same thing.
White Bridge is where I bought mine from. Ditto on the nice people thing. When my Canvas arrived, UPS had managed to break one of the tuners off. I contacted White Bridge about it and no questions asked, they sent a new tuner in the mail immediately.
I've got one of their store-branded Teles, too. Nice Korean guitar for a Chinese price!
I wrote the two reviews he links to from Harmony Central. One for the Canvas and one for the Tele. Unfortunately my ISP crashed and lost the pics I had posted for the reviews.
